Gina is originally from northeast Michigan, but as a Navy wife, had the opportunity to live on both U.S. coasts. She spent twelve years studying and working in the legal field, reaching the level of paralegal specializing in probate and real estate transfers. Upon returning to Michigan, she also moonlighted as a cellist in various ensembles in the Saginaw area. Her career in architecture began by receiving the Henry Adams Medal for the highest scholastic standing in her class at the University of Michigan. Prior to employment with Whiteford Associates, Gina worked for GBKB Architects and Paul B. Fitzsimons - Architect. While with Fitzsimons, she worked on a variety of projects including residential, commercial, and industrial, with an emphasis on remodeling. She also created the standards for a new computer modeling service and acted as the chief 3-D renderer for the firm.
